Dr Sr Sonia CTC is making news in the field of acupuncture treatment

Dr Sr Sonia CTC of PS Convent, Maradu is making news in the medical filed through her acupuncture treatment. She is based in Maradu P S Mission hospital. On earlier also, Sr Mary Eassy was working in the same hospital, who started the treatment through acupuncture. Now Sister Doctor Sonia is doing her best, through this typical type of treatment. KLCA Thykkudam zone meet

MARADU-KLCA Thykkudam zone leaders meet was held at Moothedom church, Maradu.  The meet held on 29/9/13 was inaugurated by Shaji  George,  state president.
Noted writer John Paul felicitated the guests Maradu Joseph and Joseph Vytilla. Award for brilliant students was also distributed.

Nostalgic moments were also created when the Maradu Joseph refreshed his tunes of old music.

Inauguration of construction work for new bridge.. Nettur -Kundannur

The bridge between Nettur and NH road was a long appealing dream for the people in Nettur. Now it is about to become a reality. The inauguration of the work of the construction of new bridge will be started on 3-10-2013 at Kundannur.

Service roads turned as parking bays !

InMaradu, Service roads are often used as parking bay for heavy vehicles of the big establishments situated near NH 47 bye pass. Though the authorities are vigilant in checking over speed and other routine checkings, this illegal parking is often left unattended.

Shaji again in films...

Shaji of Maradu is again linked in a couple of new films as supporting characters. He is basically an artist, later given up art for some time to run his family. Now the youthful art days of this 40+ man is back, with a bunch of new roles; at the same time, he is still on work for supporting his family.

Changing jurisdiction of Maradu Police Station from ACJM Court to Kochi Court will cause inconvenience to litigants and lawyers. Obviously, the Kochi Court premises is lacking the infrastructure to adopt one more station. 
The affected party must always be heard before effecting such changes. Earlier, Maradu area was included in the territorial limits of Panangad Police Station. When a new Police Station was formed at Maradu, it was simply divided in between the boundaries; and not a single inch is added to the new Maradu Police Stationl. Then why this haste for changing the Jurisdiction?
The fact that, there is no direct private bus route from Maradu to Kochi and the people have to reach M G road and then divert to Kochi route cannot be ignored when taking a decision to move the jurisdiction to Kochi Court.

Directive to complete the CANA.. it was in half way for 2 years due to technical reasons.

The Petition was filed by Abdul Khader and Davis of Madhyamam Road, through Adv Sherry J Thomas in High Court of Kerala. The directive was given by Js Surendra Mohan.
